Diwali is a symbol of goodness, righteousness, and of good over evil. Diwali is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Deepavali’ which means a row of lights. This is evident from the lighting of lamps in every household. These lamps and diyas illuminate our way and propagate positivity across.
Sri Venkateswara Temple of North Carolina cordially invites the devotees to celebrate Deepavali and the pious Raja Gopuram’s inauguration with other traditional festivities on October 24, 2022, from 3:00 pm. Governor of NC, Roy Cooper will celebrate the festival of lights with us.
