OUTER BANKS, NC :

It has been rightly said that, “At the beach, life is different. Time doesn’t move hour to hour but mood to moment. We live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun.”

The Outer Banks, NC usually abbreviated as OBX is a major tourist attraction site in North Carolina. For all the beach lovers, it’s a perfect weekend getaway.
“It’s a 320 km string of barrier islands and spits off the coast of North Carolina and southeastern Virginia, on the east coast of the United States.”

What makes the Outer banks so popular among the people? What’s so therapeutic about this place?

The Outer Banks, it is vast and diverse in beaches and area. It has a series of beaches from Northern to the Southern coasts, water activities, swimming in the cold water, fishing, site seeing and a lot more is proffered by the OBX.
Diverse in beaches and biodiverse as well, it ranges from sea grasses to feral horses. The biodiverty is what makes it a perfect destination for green panthers or nature lovers.
The Outer Banks offers the vacationers a range of activities to spend their getaways at the best!
The best time to travel to the OBX is from the month of June to August. You can escape the city heat and disconnect for a while during the rainy season at OBX.
Although if you wanna avoid the crowd, off season is your time to visit and wander on the beaches.
From collecting the sea shells & fishing in the salt water to building castles & Sun bathing to Jet skiing & parasailing, you name it and you have it. Sounds like a perfect weekend plan, no?

If you’ve had enough of beaches, you can roam around the lighthouses, visit Carollas wild horses, Horseback riding and visit NC aquariums.

The Northern and Southern coasts have plenty of beaches, but the middle area is the best site for shopping and the best places to eat at the beachfronts with some amazing aesthetic views including the sunsets, sea shore, tides and the currents.
Moving onto the accommodation, we would suggest you to prefer camping over any fancy hotel! What a delight and adventure it would be building your own camp and staying all goofy inside.

Clear skies with the sea breeze! Light up your campfire, put on a tent and stargaze with narrating stories to your loved ones.
Remember, the outer banks are spread over a vast area. It would be not possible to visit all at once, obviously.

We’re listing below some of the places that should be your top priority and in your bucket list in no particular order!

When you walk through the beaches, keeping one foot behind the other, make sure you leave the footprints of love & kindness.
One quote to forever keep in your Memory Lane is that “Job fills your pocket. Adventure fills your soul”
Because when you will look behind and memorize, you’d recall the good times you spent. Take that break, get up and get ready, take your bag back, drive and reach!
